Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What exactly do you do?

A: I utilize “available” 1:18th scale diecast cars to replicate your car by repainting them and applying graphics and details. Most of these cars have opening hood, doors, trunk, and pose-able steering.  Review the “Body Shop” link to see what’s involved. (Link)

Q: Can you replicate any car?

A: I am limited in this area and depend on what is produced in 1/18 scale diecast to recreate specific cars/models. If the body style is produced I can, within reason, modify it to look identical to yours.

Q: How big are 1:18th scale cars?

A: 1:18th scale cars are approximately 10 inches long and 4 inches wide.

Q: How long does it take you to replicate a car?

A: One to three months.

Q: What is the cost to replicate a car?

A: That depends on what is needed to replicate your particular car. A range of $125 to $400 should suffice.

Q: How do I obtain a quote from you?

A: Provide answers to the questions in the Ordering Information Section and, if possible, send me digital pictures of your car. Pictures go a long way in both price quoting and more importantly, accurately replicating your precious musclecar.(Link to Ordering  Information)

Q: Can you replicate my Foreign Exotic?

A: Yes, but not interested. My heart and my enthusiasm are best put to use on American Muscle cars.
